The new Farm Cidery does not need to be located on a farm.  The new license goes into effect on January 15, 2014.  At this time, the wholesale application has not been amended to include the license type.  The SLA will have the application and most probably a class change application available prior to the effective date of the law.  Many cideries will benefit by converting to this new license class.  Fees are less and there are more privileges for tastings and retail.
