I love cheese as much as I love red wine. I also wanted to do some research and suggest some food options to my restaurant clients that would appeal to a health conscious demographic. What I learned was that the popular and affordable cheese options are on the list of healthier cheese varieties:

Each cheese variety has particular health properties, just like different vegetables have different vitamins and minerals. It appears that the general rule is to consume cheese in moderation, but you don’t have to eliminate cheese from your diet to be healthy. I am glad to learn I can still order a cheese platter and stick to my goals.
